🔍 Job Title: Fabric Sourcing Manager (Woven & Knitted Fabrics) 📍 Location: Madurai, Tamil Nadu 🧵 Industry: Garment / Textile (Women’s & Children’s Wear) 📅 Experience Required: Minimum 7 Years About the Role We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Fabric Sourcing Manager to lead our sourcing function for woven and knitted fabrics catering to women’s and children’s garments. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in fabrication, vendor management, and cost optimization, with a deep understanding of market trends and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Source and develop woven and knitted fabrics as per design and buyer requirements Strong knowledge in fabric construction, composition, GSM, dyeing, and finishing techniques Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable fabric suppliers and mills Negotiate pricing, lead times, and ensure cost-effective sourcing strategies Work closely with design, merchandising, and production teams for fabric selection and approvals Ensure quality compliance and timely availability of materials Conduct market research to stay updated on latest fabric trends and innovations Manage sampling, lab dips, and bulk approvals Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure smooth supply chain operations Key Requirements Minimum 7+ years of experience in Fabric Sourcing in the garment industry Strong expertise in fabrication (must-have skill) Hands-on experience in both woven and knitted fabrics Exposure to women’s and children’s wear segment preferred Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Good understanding of quality standards and compliance Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment Why Join Us?
