We are looking for Finance Controller, India, who will join our Global Business Services division. This position will be based out of Mumbai, India. The Finance Controller role will be reporting to Area Finance Manager, Middle East & India. Who you are: You will be responsible to manage the customers’ requirements as per the established Service Agreement and to monitor customer service needs, follow up port calls and provide support to the customer. You are also required to Coordinate all arrangements required by customer for port calls entering the Area. Required experience and skills: • Qualified profession in Finance & Accounting. Preferably CA. • Comprehensive knowledge of Taxation and Auditing, applied to maintain robust financial controls, optimize tax strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance across all reporting processes. • Minimum 03-05 years relevant experience with Multinational companies in similar position. • Proven management skills plus the ability to communicate effectively. • A good command of the English language (spoken and written). • Sound knowledge of financial business related to international operations. • Leverage advanced financial technologies, including AI, Power BI, and RPA, to enhance reporting accuracy, automate processes, and support data-driven decision-making. • Exposure to Finance Shared Services environments is highly desirable, supporting streamlined financial operations and global process standardization. What you will be doing: • Ensure books of accounts are maintained in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards and Wilhelmsen financial policies & procedures. • Prepare financial reports and analysis including, but not limited to profit and loss account, balance sheet, cash flow statements and detailed income and expense analysis. • Prepare the Annual Target for GBS division in liaison with Area Finance and assist with other Business divisions in preparation of their Annual Target. • Collaborate with Finance Shared Services to validate financial data, enforce compliance with statutory and internal policies, and resolve discrepancies promptly. • Ensure proper organizational development with respect to financial issues. • Keep financial structure in line with corporate guidelines. • Administer payroll / statutory related payments, end of service benefits and other payments. • Implementation and improvement of all controls that affect the business operation and accounts. • Prepare the Key Performance Indicators for all departments to evaluate the performance and productivities of the Company. • Minimize our cost structure by managing funds efficiently and through strict control of all expenditure. • Liaise with external stakeholders including banks and External auditors. • Comply with local Laws/ regulations and with requirements from external parties.
