The Role We'r ... e looking for a Finance Manager who will own our financial operations end-to-end. This isn't a support role — you'll be the single point of accountability for our books, cash flow, and financial health. You'll work directly with the CEO and coordinate with our external CA firm for compliance and tax filings. What You'll Own Travel Operations Finance • Edition-level (trip-level) P&L tracking — we run 3-4 trips/month across different destinations • Supplier/vendor advance management — we pay on-ground operators 3-6 months ahead • Multi-currency reconciliation for payments to DMCs in Europe, Asia, and beyond • Seasonality planning — understanding destination economics and booking cycles Monthly Financial Close • P&L delivered by 7th of every month • Balance sheet and bank reconciliation • Edition-level profitability tracking (we run 3-4 trips/month) Cash Flow & Payments • Vendor payments in INR and foreign currency (EUR, USD, THB) • Forex tracking and reconciliation • Working capital management (we pay vendors 3-6 months ahead, collect 2-3 months ahead) Tax & Compliance Coordination • Advance tax estimation and timely payment (quarterly) • GST coordination with CA • Statutory compliance tracking Budgeting & Reporting • Edition budgets vs actuals • Monthly finance dashboard for CEO • Flag variances and risks proactively Accounts Payable • Vendor invoice processing • Payment scheduling aligned to budgets • Multi-currency payment tracking This Role is Perfect If: • You've done finance in travel/tourism and are tired of companies that don't understand the industry • You want to own the full P&L of a profitable travel business, not just process invoices • You're excited by the complexity of multi-country operations, forex, and supplier economics • You want to see the trips you're financing actually happen (yes, there may be travel opportunities) Strongly Preferred: • Finance experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, or events — you understand supplier advances, seasonality, trip-level margins, and working with on-ground operators/DMCs • Built finance dashboards or reporting frameworks • Worked with Razorpay or similar payment platforms What We're Looking For (Mindset) • Ownership: You don't wait to be told.
