About the job

ExCo runs 40+ international group trips annually across 15+ countries — Iceland, Japan, Finland, Greece, Jordan, and beyond. We need a Finance Manager who understands travel economics: supplier advances, trip-level P&L, multi-currency payments, and seasonality. If you've worked in travel, tourism, or hospitality finance and want to own the numbers for a profitable, growing company — this is it. What You'll Own • Trip-level P&L — edition-by-edition profitability across 3-4 trips/month • Vendor payments — INR and forex (EUR, USD, THB) to DMCs and on-ground operators • Monthly close — P&L by 7th, balance sheet, bank reconciliation • Cash flow — we pay vendors 3-6 months ahead, collect 2-3 months ahead • Tax coordination — advance tax, GST, statutory compliance with external CA • CEO dashboard — monthly reporting, variance flags, proactive risk calls Must Have • 4-8 years finance experience (at least 2 years in SME/startup, not just large corporates) • Owned monthly P&L close (not just supported) • Hands-on with Tally and/or Zoho Books • Based in Bangalore or willing to relocate Strong Plus • Travel, tourism, hospitality, or events finance background • Multi-currency payment experience • Built dashboards or reporting frameworks What We're Looking For • You own the numbers — don't wait to be told • You flag problems before they become crises • You explain finance to a non-finance CEO in plain English • You catch the ₹10K error before it becomes ₹10L Why ExCo? • Work directly with the founder — no layers • Own finance end-to-end, not just a slice • Travel industry with global vendors and interesting economics • Your work matters visibly To apply: Include "Travel Finance Ready" in your application.
