About our client Our Client operates in the Electronics Industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in the United States. Their core business is designing, manufacturing and marketing of products for end-to-end transmissions. As a Finance Manager – Group & India Operations, you will be responsible for... India Finance Leadership: • Overseeing end-to-end finance operations for India, including statutory compliance, tax filings, payroll, and audits. • Ensuring timely and accurate monthly management accounts for India entity. • Managing working capital, cash flow, and treasury operations for India. • Liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities. Group Finance Support: • Assisting Finance Head in consolidation of global accounts and preparation of group-level reports. • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for both India and Group. • Contributing to financial modelling for expansion scenarios and strategic initiatives. • Assisting in coordinating with global advisors and consultants to ensure group wide compliances. Compliance & Controls: • Maintaining robust internal controls across India operations. • Ensuring compliance with Indian GAAP, IFRS, and group policies. • Implementing risk management practices for currency, tax, and regulatory exposure. Process & Systems: • Driving automation and ERP enhancements (Zoho Books experience preferred). • Implementing standard operating procedures for finance and accounting. • Identifying and executing process improvements for scalability and efficiency. Team Leadership: • Managing and mentoring the Mumbai finance team to deliver accurate and timely outputs. • Building capability within the team to support both local and international requirements. • Ensuring succession planning and skills development. What you already have... • Professional qualification: CA. • 8–12 years of experience in finance operations, preferably in multi-entity or global environments. • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of Indian GAAP and global accounting. IFRS / Ind-AS knowledge is a good to have. • Experience with tax compliance, audits, and treasury management. • Advanced Excel skills: experience with Zoho Books preferred. • Strong leadership and team management capabilities. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
