Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled financial analyst with expertise in Spanish language to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing monthly management accounts, and providing insights into financial variances. Key Responsibilities: Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial results and provide detailed explanations of variances. Prepare and review the monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with Finance Managers and Operations teams to ensure accuracy of monthly management accounts. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to clarify discrepancies and improve financial reporting processes. VAT Returns: Prepare and review VAT returns for properties in compliance with local tax regulations. Property-Focused Financial Analysis: Support the financial management of a portfolio of properties, including a new fund with four properties and a Spanish property. Work closely with local teams to ensure all financial and operational aspects are accurately reflected in the financial accounts. Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience. • Experience in property or real estate accounting is preferred but not required. • Language Skills: Intermediate Spanish proficiency (reading and writing) is essential, especially for the Spanish property. • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles, P&L, Balance Sheets, and VAT returns. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
