Financial Analyst Role The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data and creating reports to support business decision-making. This role works closely with the finance, accounting, and leadership teams to ensure accurate budgeting, planning, and financial performance tracking. Key Responsibilities: Analyze financial statements and cash flow metrics. Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts. Monitor key financial indicators and provide insights to management. Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts. Track variances and provide explanations for deviations. Support scenario planning and financial modeling. Build and maintain financial models (Excel, Power BI, Tableau). Interpret data trends and provide recommendations for improvement. Conduct cost-benefit analyses. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial inputs. Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and projects. Review financial performance of departments and products. Evaluate and implement financial practices that comply with GAAP and company policies. Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
