About The Role We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at Green Start Management Consultancy. This role is pivotal in supporting our client’s financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making processes, particularly within the non-banking financial company (NBFC) sector. As a Financial Business Analyst, you will work closely with senior management and various business units to analyze financial data, develop models, and provide actionable insights that influence key business strategies. Your expertise will help optimize profitability, streamline budgeting and forecasting processes, and enhance financial reporting accuracy. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess an MBA in Finance or a related field, with a strong academic background. Proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with budgeting and forecasting tools are essential. The candidate should demonstrate excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a strategic mindset. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are also required. Responsibilities The Financial Business Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that support the organization’s financial health and strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities include leading the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational goals. You will analyze profitability metrics and unit economics across various products, branches, and geographies, providing insights to optimize performance. Conducting variance analysis and preparing detailed reports will be a core part of your role, enabling business teams to make informed decisions. Building and maintaining financial models will support pricing strategies and investment decisions. Additionally, you will deliver Management Information System (MIS) reports, dashboards, and performance tracking tools to monitor ongoing business performance. Collaborating with sales, credit, and collections teams will ensure data-driven decision-making processes. Supporting fundraising efforts, creating investor presentations, and conducting strategic financial analysis will also be part of your responsibilities. You will work closely with the treasury department on cost of funds and financial planning initiatives, while also driving automation projects to enhance process efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
