Our client, an asset management company is looking to engage with a Financial modeling expert. Roles & Responsibilities • Build and maintain detailed financial models (3-statement, operating, and scenario-based models) to support business planning, forecasting, and decision-making. • Develop and analyze P&L statements, budgets, and variance reports to track financial performance and identify improvement opportunities. • Perform valuation modeling using methods such as DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions to support investments and strategic initiatives. • Create dynamic Excel-based models, dashboards, and sensitivity analyses with a high level of accuracy and scalability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and translate business drivers into robust financial projections. • Present financial insights, model outputs, and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. Skills Required: • Strong expertise in financial modeling, including 3-statement models, forecasting, scenario and sensitivity analysis. • Proficient in valuation techniques such as DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transaction analysis. • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and automation for financial analysis. • Deep understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis, with the ability to interpret and explain financial drivers. • Ability to translate business assumptions into structured models with a high level of accuracy and logical flow. • Strong analytical and communication skills to present financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
