Intro Summary of the Role The Financial Planning Application Developer (SAP Analytics Cloud) plays a key role in designing, building, and operating enterprise planning solutions within Lonza’s Digital Finance team. This position supports FP&A by delivering scalable and high-performing SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) planning applications across integrated financial and workforce planning processes. The role combines strong technical expertise in SAP SAC with a solid understanding of financial planning processes, acting as a bridge between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders. What You Will Get • An agile career and dynamic working culture within a global life sciences leader • Exposure to enterprise-scale financial planning and digital finance transformation • Opportunities to work with global FP&A, IT, and platform teams • A collaborative, inclusive, and ethical workplace • Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with role and experience What You Will Do • Design, develop, and optimize SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions • Configure SAC planning components including Data Actions, Multi Actions, Input Controls, Data Locking, Advanced Formulas, and Security • Customize and enhance SAP Business Content for Integrated Financial Planning and Workforce Planning • Identify gaps in standard SAP content and propose scalable solutions • Support solution design workshops and deliver training sessions • Maintain, troubleshoot, and operate SAC planning applications • Act as a liaison between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders What We Are Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Data Science • Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud Planning • Strong understanding of FP&A processes • Experience customizing SAP Business Content • Technical skills including Advanced Formulas and JavaScript (ES6+) • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills About Lonza At Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
