This role sits at the intersection of backend engineering, applied AI, and systems design, and involves solving challenging problems around high-quality reasoning, low latency, and precision over unstructured data. Key responsibilities include: • Building the core intelligence layer that powers the product • Designing systems that reason over unstructured communication data • Developing architectures that deliver low latency with high precision • Building infrastructure for context-aware AI agents • Working closely with the founders to shape product and technical direction • Helping build the early engineering culture and technical foundations The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate has 2-8 years of experience in software engineering and has ideally worked in early-stage startups, potentially as an early or founding engineer. You are someone who enjoys working on hard technical problems, building products from the ground up, and operating in environments with high ownership. You may have experience in: • Backend engineering, distributed systems, or applied AI • Building systems that process large volumes of unstructured data • Developing low-latency, high-reliability architectures • Working with LLMs or AI-driven products • Shipping products in early-stage startup environments • Prior experience as a founding or early engineer in a startup will be a strong advantage.
