We are looking for a Founding UI/UX Engineer who can design and build stunning, intuitive user experiences—and also implement them using React.js or Next.js. You’ll work directly with the founder and core engineering team to design and ship the product end-to-end. This is not a traditional designer role. This is a founder-track role for someone who loves building products from scratch. 🎯 Who You Are You are among the top 5–10% UI/UX + frontend engineers in your peer group. You have strong visual taste, analytical thinking, and the ability to take a chaotic idea → convert it into a polished, world-class product experience. You’ve likely built products in at least one of these categories: • AI-driven consumer apps • Chatbot or conversational UI systems • E-commerce product experiences • Fintech dashboards or flows • Social apps or community tools You follow AI trends closely and use modern tools to accelerate your work (AI-driven design workflows, Figma AI, Cursor, V0, etc.). You think like a builder, not like an employee. 🛠️ What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities) • Own the entire UI/UX vision and implementation for Airawath across web & mobile. • Design world-class interfaces using Figma with Apple-like simplicity and clarity. • Build responsive, interactive frontend experiences using React.js / Next.js. • Work directly with the founder to translate product ideas → intuitive user flows. • Lead user experience across gifting, AI interactions, invitations, social features, e-commerce, and fintech-like flows. • Understand psychological cues & emotional triggers that drive user actions. • Work with backend + AI engineers to create seamless workflows powered by AI. • Develop reusable design systems and component libraries. • Optimize UX through research, experimentation, A/B testing & heuristics. • Collaborate closely with the AI team to design AI chat interactions, ranking/suggestion flows, onboarding journeys, personalization experiences. • Maintain extremely high standards for design quality, speed, and consistency. • Contribute directly to shaping Airawath’s brand identity, product personality, and visual voice. • Act as a founding member who influences culture, engineering discipline, and delivery excellence. ✔️ Must-Have Qualifications • 3–6 years of hands-on UI/UX + front-end development experience. • Fluency in Figma, design systems, prototyping, and micro-interactions. • Strong engineering skills in React.js or Next.js (mandatory). • Experience building consumer-facing products (startup experience highly preferred). • Strong visual taste—can articulate why a design works. • High aptitude, analytical thinking, and structured problem-solving. • Understanding of AI-driven workflows, LLM-based features, and modern interaction patterns. • Experience working in agile, fast-paced, product-first environments. • Excellent communication skills—can justify design decisions with clarity. • Degree from a reputed engineering or design school (preferred). • High energy, ownership, and willingness to go deep. 🚫 Non-Negotiables • No moonlighting. • Must work onsite in Hyderabad, Hitech City (not hybrid/remote). • Must be flexible with work hours to collaborate with the US team. • Must treat this as a high-ownership, long-term role—not a side gig. • Must be an individual contributor who can deliver independently. ⭐ Why This Role Is Special • This is a founder-track role. • You’ll influence the product at every level—from user psychology to AI behavior. • Your work will shape the brand, the experience, and the identity of Airawath. • You get to build something from zero to one with complete creative freedom. • The equity you receive could become life-changing if executed well.
