Summary Position Summary Job Title FP&A Process Consultant Location Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Mumbai Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Process Consultant to join our Finance Transformation team. This role will focus on optimizing, standardizing, and supporting FP&A processes to Fortune 100 clients and to drive business insights, enhance forecasting accuracy, and enable strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities • FP&A Process Optimization for Clients • Assess, design, and implement improvements to FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. • Identify automation opportunities and support the deployment of digital tools (e.g., Oracle Hyperion, Anaplan, OneStream, Adaptive Insights, Power BI). • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for FP&A activities. • Financial Planning & Forecasting Standardization and Efficiency • Standardize and enhance annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles, collaborating with various cross offering teams and technology alliances. • Consolidate and analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations. • Be able to prepare variance analyses and explain key business drivers to clients and also provide leading recommendations in the industries they operate in. • Reporting & Analytics (Rationalization and Leading practices) • Analyze, Rationalize, Recommend and Develop management reporting packages, dashboards, and KPIs. • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial reports and the process efficiencies that can be gained there. • Support ad hoc financial analysis for leadership and client-facing teams. • Stakeholder Collaboration (Mentoring, Teaming and Building capabilities) • Partner with client business leaders, project managers, and other finance teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions. • Train and support end-users on FP&A tools and processes. • Mentor and build a team of FPA process consultants who will provide services on similar activities. Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred. • 3 to 8 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or process improvement within a specific Industry or consulting or professional services environment. • Strong understanding of FP&A processes, financial modeling, and forecasting techniques. • Experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Preferred Skills • Experience with process automation (RPA, macros, scripting). • Familiarity with consulting business models and operating models (e.g., time & materials, fixed fee). • Change management or process improvement certifications (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
