Freelance Front-End Engineer

Role Description We are seeking an experienced Freelance Front-End Engineer with strong expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript / JavaScript , and Optimizely Headless SaaS CMS . Key Responsibilities • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Optimizely SaaS / Headless CMS platform, supporting design, debugging, and content architecture planning • Design and develop UI components using Optimizely Headless SaaS CMS • Build and maintain front-end websites using React and Next.js , integrating Optimizely SaaS content components • Advise and implement integrations between website front ends (“heads”) and the Optimizely SaaS CMS • Assist in designing user interactions and user experience flows on web pages • Ensure cross-platform optimization , including mobile device compatibility • Ensure responsive and performant web applications • Collaborate with graphic designers to implement web design features accurately • Work across time zones using tools such as Slack, Jira, and GitHub • Own projects end-to-end, from initial concept to final delivery • Code, test, and debug new and existing web applications • Create and maintain technical and application documentation • Provide weekly status reports covering completed, ongoing, and upcoming work • Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Provide production support and issue resolution as required • Perform other related duties as needed Required Skills & Experience • Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript • Proven experience working with Optimizely SaaS / Headless CMS • Experience integrating headless CMS platforms with modern front-end frameworks • Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization • Experience working in Agile environments • Strong communication and collaboration skills
