Role Description : We are looking for a Frontend Architect with strong expertise in React.js, Next.js, and modern frontend architecture to build high-performing, scalable web applications. The role involves transforming traditional frontend systems into micro-frontend and microservices-based architectures, with a strong focus on performance, web vitals, and scalability. Responsibilities : • Architect and develop high-performance frontend applications using React.js and Next.js • Lead frontend modernization initiatives, including micro-frontend architecture • Work on Magento frontend transformation and decoupling into scalable frontend services • Optimize applications for Core Web Vitals, performance, and SEO • Implement internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) best practices • Design and maintain frontend CI / CD pipelines and build processes • Collaborate with backend teams on API design and integration • Implement monitoring and observability using APM tools (New Relic, Sentry, etc.) • Ensure code quality through testing frameworks like Jest and Cypress • Mentor team members and contribute to architectural decisions • Work closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals Technical Skills : • 3-8 years of experience is required. • Strong experience in React.js and Next.js • Solid understanding of Magento frontend architecture • Experience with micro-frontends and modular frontend systems • Performance optimization and web vitals expertise • Experience with Redux / MobX or similar state management • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+) • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and frontend build tools • Experience with APM tools (New Relic, Sentry) • Understanding of REST APIs and backend integration • Exposure to cloud or serverless frontend deployments • Experience with Jest, Cypress, or similar testing tools Behavioural skills : • Strategic and architectural thinking • Strong planning and organizational skills • Stakeholder and cross-team collaboration • People leadership and mentoring • Innovation mindset and attention to detail
