Company Description Hello Recruiter is an AI-powered recruiting platform that conducts autonomous conversational interviews using intelligent digital avatars. Our AI agents conduct in-depth interviews across chat, voice, and video—giving every candidate a fair, consistent experience while saving recruiters hours of screening time. We're an early-stage startup building at the intersection of AI and recruiting. Role Description • Build and maintain our web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript • Own the frontend for key product areas (interview room UI, recruiter dashboards, candidate portals) • Implement responsive, accessible, and performant interfaces • Work with real-time features (WebSockets, live video/audio interfaces via LiveKit) • Collaborate with designers to establish and maintain our component library and design system • Write clean, tested, and documented code • Review code from other engineers and interns • Make frontend architecture decisions as we scale • Optimize for performance, SEO, and Core Web Vitals on marketing pages What We Are Looking For Must Have: • 2+ years of professional frontend development experience • Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript • Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design • Experience with Next.js or similar React frameworks • Familiarity with state management (Redux, Zustand, or Context) • Ability to translate designs into clean, maintainable code • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows • Strong debugging skills and attention to detail • Good communication skills in English • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment Good to Have: • Experience with Tailwind CSS • Familiarity with real-time applications (WebSockets, WebRTC) • Experience integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs • Previous startup experience or comfort with ambiguity • Interest in AI/ML applications Tech Stack • Framework: React, Next.js, TypeScript • Design: Figma • Version Control: GitHub • Architecture : Microservices • AI Stack : Gemini/Vertex, Live Kit, Cartesia, HeyGen, Langfuse What We Offer • Ownership and impact from day one—small team, big responsibility • Work on a product at the cutting edge of AI and recruiting • Flexible remote work with async-friendly culture • Direct collaboration with founders and senior engineers • Room to grow as the company scales What We Expect • You ship.
