Position: Frontend Lead – Fintech Lending Type: Full-time Compensation: Competitive Location: Gurgaon (On-site) Experience: 6+ years Role Responsibilities: • Lead frontend engineering strategy, architecture and execution. • Build and scale lending-based consumer product interfaces with high reliability, low latency, and strong performance benchmarks. • Mentor frontend engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive engineering excellence across the team. • Translate product requirements and UX design into clean, responsive, high-conversion user interfaces. • Integrate backend systems, APIs, credit/risk engines and ensure secure data handling practices. • Implement best practices for caching, asynchronous operations, error handling, and observability. • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, backend, design and leadership teams to ensure timely delivery and technical alignment. • Own code quality, deployment readiness, system scalability and long-term technical decisions. Ideal Qualifications: • 6+ years of frontend development experience with strong leadership and people management exposure. • Mandatory experience in loan lending, NBFC-backed credit platforms or consumer-facing fintech products. • Proven experience in building and scaling high-volume consumer applications. • Deep proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as React, React Native, TypeScript, Redux or equivalent. • Strong understanding of web performance optimisation, component architecture, caching, security practices and modular code design. • Experience working with REST APIs/GraphQL, authentication layers, session management and state management at scale. • Ability to drive technical decisions independently while maintaining architectural integrity and maintainability. • Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven startup environments. • Preferable experience or familiarity with Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) development. • Exposure to financial services, credit scoring, payments, BNPL, personal loan distribution or similar digital ecosystems.
