Build and own the frontend vision for next-gen AI code review. Influence architecture, standards, and culture at the AI + frontend frontier. Job Description Drive frontend technical vision and architecture across multiple teams. Design and build core frontend systems powering an AI code review platform. Solve complex challenges in performance, accessibility, and user experience. Establish frontend standards, best practices, and design systems. Mentor and grow frontend engineers across the organization. Partner with product and design leaders to translate user needs into technical solutions. Evaluate and adopt emerging frontend technologies. Contribute to relevant open-source frontend projects. Support a culture of engineering excellence and innovation. The Successful Applicant A successful Frontend Principal Engineer should have: • 11 - 16 years of software engineering experience with at least 7+ years specializing in frontend development. • Proven track record of leading and architecting complex, large-scale frontend systems. • Deep expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and one or more major frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular). • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and web standards. • Experience building developer tools or sophisticated web platforms with a strong focus on user experience. • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across teams. • Excellent collaboration skills with product and design leaders to translate user needs into scalable technical solutions. • Hands-on experience with build systems, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines. • Active contributor to the frontend community through open source, blogs, or technical talks (preferred). • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction across the organization. • Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices is highly valued. • Exposure to code editors, IDEs, browser internals, or AI/LLM-powered frontend applications is a plus. • Curious, forward-thinking technologist with a passion for emerging frontend technologies and best practices.
