Full-Stack Automation Developer — GCP & Workflow Engineering (P2) Location: Bengaluru, India (Hybrid) Function: Global Business Services (GBS) – Process Excellence, Automation & Analytics Reporting to: Director – Process Excellence & Intelligent Automation Role Summary As a P2 Full-Stack Automation Developer, you’ll build the workflows, services, and UI layers that automate manual operations across Iron Mountain’s enterprise platforms—integrating SafeKeeper Plus (SKP), Oracle Financials, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and other SQL Server systems with GCP/BigQuery. You’ll implement APIs, serverless flows, and targeted RPA where needed, while gaining hands-on exposure to agentic AI with VertexCI/Vertex AI and Gemini. What You’ll Do Build & Ship • Develop React/Angular front-ends and Node.js/TypeScript or Python back-ends; implement RESTful APIs and secure service-to-service auth. • Orchestrate workflows using Cloud Workflows, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Scheduler, and Secret Manager. • Implement targeted UiPath/Automation Anywhere bots for UI-only gaps, with strong exception handling and logging. • Automate data pipelines to BigQuery for KPI dashboards; write efficient SQL; contribute to Looker/Tableau consumption layers. Integrate & Automate • Build connectors/integrations for Salesforce, ServiceNow, Oracle Financials, SKP using APIs, webhooks, MuleSoft/Apigee gateways. • Add observability (Cloud Logging/Monitoring), basic SLO alerts, and resilient retry/idempotency patterns. Quality & Collaboration • Write tests ( Jest/pytest ), follow code standards, participate in reviews, and ship via CI/CD. • Work in Agile sprints; break down stories, estimate realistically, and demo working software to stakeholders. Learn & Evolve (Agentic AI) • Collaborate with AI engineers to wire VertexCI/Vertex AI + Gemini into flows (prompt templates, function calling, guardrails). • Contribute to RAG patterns with BigQuery and begin building small autonomous routines under guidance. Required Experience & Skills • 3–6 years total experience; 2+ years in full-stack or workflow automation on cloud. • Proficient in Node.js/TypeScript or Python, React/Angular, RESTful APIs, SQL. • Hands-on with GCP serverless (Cloud Run or Cloud Functions), Pub/Sub, IAM, Secret Manager, Cloud Logging/Monitoring. • Exposure to UiPath or Automation Anywhere (building/maintaining basic bots). Nice to Have • Familiarity with MuleSoft/Apigee, Looker, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Docker, Cloud Build/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI. • Early exposure to VertexCI/Vertex AI, Gemini, prompt patterns, or tool/function calling. How You Work • Curious problem-solver; comfortable reading API docs, tracing logs, and improving reliability. • Pragmatic engineer who values clean code, tests, and automation over manual fixes. • Strong collaborator; communicates clearly with product/process owners. What Success Looks Like In 12 Months • 8–12 production automations/apps shipped with on-time delivery in sprints and post-go-live stability >99%. • 20–25% reduction in manual effort for assigned processes; documented in hours saved / error rate improvements. • Reusable code packages published (connectors, SDKs, UI components) adopted by peers in at least 3+ projects. • Operational readiness : dashboards/alerts in place; average incident MTTR <60 mins for owned services. + Contributed to at least 1 agentic AI workflow using VertexCI/Vertex AI + Gemini (prompted calls or evaluator-guarded actions). + Code quality: test coverage >60% on services you own; zero critical security issues in code scans.
