Full Stack Engineer

Matrix One is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to further the growth of its ALM platform called Matrix Requirements. Matrix Requirements provides the most comprehensive software toolsets for design and quality control for SxMD (Software as/in Medical Device). You'll work across the entire stack — from database models and background jobs to polished React components — and play a key role in shipping features, maintaining compliance, and expanding the platform's capabilities. We are actively bringing AI into both the product and the way we work. That means building AI-powered features for our customers, and using AI tooling to move faster, write better code, and ship with more confidence. We're looking for someone who is genuinely excited about both sides of that. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who is comfortable navigating a mature codebase, taking ownership of end-to-end features, and holding themselves to a high standard of quality and documentation. Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Backend REST APIs and services • Develop React components and user interfaces based on UI/UX designs. • Build reusable code and libraries for future use. • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. • Optimize applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and scalability. • Write automated unit and integration tests. • Support testing and documentation. • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders. • Participate in Code Review and other activities as required. • Work with team members to design innovative software programs that improve and simplify experience for customers. Requirements • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent. • 1 – 3 years of experience in full stack development. • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and React (equivalent experience in Angular/Vue will be considered). • Understanding of ORM technologies like Hibernate. • Proficiency in web HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/Typescript. • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha or Jest. • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX. • Working knowledge on project management tools such as JIRA. • Competency with version control on GIT. • Proficiency in writing technical documentation.
