Full-Stack PHP Developer

Bhalekar Consulting is expanding its engineering capability and we’re looking for a seasoned Full-Stack PHP Developer who can architect, build, and ship robust web applications for global clients. What you’ll do • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP (preferably Laravel / Symfony or similar frameworks). • Build clean, responsive front-ends using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and modern libraries/frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or similar). • Work with MySQL / PostgreSQL (or similar) to design efficient schemas and write optimized queries. • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, QA, DevOps, Design) to deliver high-quality solutions on time. • Review code, mentor junior developers, and drive best practices in coding standards and architecture. • Own the full SDLC: requirements understanding, estimation, development, testing support, deployment, and post-release improvements. What we’re looking for • 10+ years of hands-on experience in PHP-based web development. • Strong experience with at least one major PHP framework (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, etc.). • Solid front-end skills in JavaScript, along with strong command over HTML/CSS. • Strong database design and query optimization experience (MySQL/PostgreSQL). • Experience with Git and standard CI/CD workflows. • Good understanding of OOP, design patterns, and software architecture. • Experience working in agile environments and with distributed teams. • Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently. Nice to have • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP). • Exposure to Docker or containerized deployments. • Experience leading a small development team or acting as a technical lead.
