We are seeking an experienced Fullstack Application Support Engineer responsible for resolving critical production issues (Sev1/Sev2) and contributing to application development. This hybrid role requires strong expertise in Python, TypeScript, AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools. The ideal candidate should be able to independently manage shift operations while ensuring system uptime, stability, and seamless support experience. Title: Fullstack Application Support Engineer Location: Remote work Work timings: 24*7 Rotational shifts Key Responsibilities Development & Automation (40%) • Debug, enhance, and maintain applications built using Python and TypeScript. • Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline support operations. • Apply patches, bug-fixes, and implement small enhancements as required. • Work with development teams to enhance reliability, stability, and performance. Application Support (60%) • Troubleshoot and resolve Sev1/Sev2 production issues in a timely manner. • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for application, infrastructure, and CI/CD-related issues. • Monitor system health using Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, or equivalent tools. • Respond to alerts, manage escalations, and ensure adherence to SLAs. • Maintain detailed incident documentation, RCAs, and update runbooks. • Collaborate with DevOps, Development, and Cloud teams to ensure application reliability. • Follow managed services operational processes for smooth support operations. Required Skills • Strong hands-on programming experience in Python (fastapi/Flask or Django) and working knowledge of TypeScript. • Ability to troubleshoot issues across AWS services including VPC, Security Groups, IAM, EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, Secrets Manager, and Parameter Store. • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI or Jenkins, including pipeline monitoring and issue resolution. • Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Datadog (preferred) or AWS CloudWatch, including log analysis, metrics evaluation, and alert handling. • Understanding of operational workflows in managed services projects, including incident management, change management, SLA adherence, and shift-based support operations. • Ability to independently handle production support shifts with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-handling abilities. Nice-to-Have Skills • Basic knowledge of Kotlin and C#. • Experience with log management tools such as ELK or Splunk. • Familiarity with microservices or serverless architectures. • Exposure to ITIL or ITSM processes.
