We are expanding our Finance team and looking for experienced professionals in Fund Accounting and Record to Report (R2R) functions. Job Title: Fund Accountant 🔎 Role Overview Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for investment funds, preparing monthly/quarterly reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting and regulatory standards. 📌 Key Responsibilities • Prepare valuation schedules and support valuation roll-up processes • Perform stock value/dividend adjustments, equity checks, and dividend analysis • Calculate waterfalls, IRR, and affiliate fee allocations • Assist in fair value assessments and review property-level financial data • Reconcile intercompany balances, loan schedules, and elimination entries • Manage JV financials and consolidation support • Track management/affiliate fees and fund-level expense allocations • Support financial statement roll-forwards and REIT testing • Conduct flux and variance analysis • Prepare wire packets with supporting documentation • Maintain track record data and performance metrics 🎯 Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 5–8 years of experience in R2R/general accounting/financial reporting • Fund Accounting experience preferred • ERP experience (Oracle, JD Edwards) is a plus • Real estate/property accounting exposure is advantageous • Strong expertise in Fund Management, Waterfalls, Equity Checks, Loan Schedules & Financial Statements • Excellent analytical and communication skills Job Title: R2R (Record to Report) Specialist 🔎 Role Overview Manage the end-to-end Record to Report process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and support for month-end/year-end closures. 📌 Key Responsibilities • Record, review, and post journal entries accurately and timely • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts • Prepare Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow statements • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities • Perform account and variance analysis; investigate discrepancies • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies • Support audits with schedules and reconciliations • Collaborate with AP, AR, and Treasury teams 🎯 Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 5–8 years of experience in R2R/general accounting/financial reporting • Strong understanding of accounting principles • ERP knowledge (Oracle, JD Edwards) preferred • Real estate/property development experience is an advantage • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail and effective communication skills 🌟 Why Join Finantic AI? • Be part of an innovative, AI-driven finance organization • Opportunity to work in a high-growth, performance-oriented environment • Career growth and exposure to advanced financial operations 📩 Interested candidates may share their updated resume at hr@finantic.ai 🌐 Learn more about us: https://www.finantic.ai/#Hiring #FundAccountant #R2R #RecordToReport #FinanceJobs #ChennaiJobs #AccountingCareers
