This role is well suited for an early-career professional with hands-on experience in fund accounting or fund administration who is looking to grow within a global investment a ... nd finance environment.The successful candidate will work closely with internal finance teams, external administrators, and portfolio company stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and timely delivery of fund-level financial information. What You’ll Do Fund Accounting & Financial Reporting • Support monthly and quarterly fund accounting processes, including NAV support, cash and position reconciliations, and expense accruals. • Assist with calculation and review of management fees, performance fees, and capital activity. • Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for fund financial statements and internal reporting. • Perform variance analysis and investigate differences across reporting periods. Controls, Processes & Governance • Maintain and follow fund accounting controls, checklists, and documented procedures. • Support internal and external audit requests by providing accurate documentation and data. • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and standardization across portfolio reporting. • Ensure strong audit trails and adherence to internal governance standards. Stakeholder & Portfolio Support • Coordinate with portfolio company finance teams and external service providers to collect and validate financial data. • Support onboarding of new funds or portfolio entities from an accounting and reporting perspective. • Respond to ad-hoc requests related to fund performance, expenses, and investor-level data. Data & Systems • Work with fund accounting systems and Excel-based models to manage and analyze financial data. • Support preparation of summaries, dashboards, or management reporting materials. • Assist with data integrity checks across systems and reports. What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications • 3–5 years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or financial operations ideally from global fund administrators (Apex, IQ-EQ, Alter Domus TMF Group), ODD groups (Morgan Stanley GIMA ODD, Mercer Sentinel ODD) or captive VC funds. • Exposure to alternative investments (venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, or similar). • Working knowledge of: • Fund accounting processes • NAV support and reconciliations • Fund expense and fee calculations • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in VC/PE fund administration. • Familiarity with audit support, compliance reporting, or operational controls. • Exposure to process documentation or reporting tools • Progress toward professional qualifications (CA Inter, CPA, CFA, or equivalent) is a plus.
