We are looking for a GenAI Engineer who can design, build, and operationalize AI features end-to-end within the MapleRecord platform. This role is outcome-oriented. We care far more about what you can build, deploy, and improve than where you worked or how many years of experience you have. If you can turn ambiguous problems into working AI solutions used by real customers, you will succeed here. What You Will Work On (Core AI Initiatives) You will directly contribute to MapleRecord’s AI roadmap, including : • AI-powered FOI / ATIP request triage and classification • Automatic sensitive data detection and redaction (PII, PHI, financial data) • Intelligent records categorization and metadata extraction • Context-aware search and summarization across records • AI-assisted retention and disposition recommendations • Agent-based workflows for records processing and compliance checks • Secure, auditable AI pipelines aligned with public-sector compliance needs Key Responsibilities • Design and implement GenAI solutions that move from prototype to production • Build and integrate LLM-based services (RAG, agents, embeddings, classifiers) • Work closely with product, engineering, and domain experts to translate real problems into AI features • Develop retrieval pipelines using vector databases and structured metadata • Implement guardrails, prompt strategies, evaluation metrics, and auditability • Optimize AI systems for cost, latency, accuracy, and scalability • Own features end-to-end : design → build → test → deploy → iterate • Contribute to architectural decisions for AI services within a SaaS platform What We Value More Than Experience You do not need : • A specific number of years in AI • A big-tech background • A PhD You must demonstrate : • Ability to learn fast and ship real solutions • Strong problem-solving mindset • Comfort working with ambiguity • Bias toward execution and measurable outcomes
