Job Description: General Manager – FMCG Packaging Films Position: General Manager (GM) Industry: FMCG Packaging Films Level: Senior Management Experience: Minimum 4+ Years Location: Vadodara (with travel) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented General Manager to lead and manage operations for our FMCG packaging films business. The ideal candidate will have strong industry exposure in food and industrial packaging films, proven leadership skills, and hands-on experience working with large corporate clients. Key Responsibilities • Lead overall business operations including sales, production coordination, and team management • Handle key corporate clients and maintain long-term relationships • Coordinate with factory, production, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations • Drive business growth through strategic planning and execution • Manage and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve business targets • Oversee negotiations, pricing strategies, and client contracts • Ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and operational efficiency • Travel domestically and internationally as required for business development and client meetings Key Requirements • Minimum 4+ years of experience in FMCG products, preferably packaging films industry • Strong exposure to PVC cling film, stretch film, food & industrial packaging films • Experience working with large retail and corporate clients such as modern trade, automobile, or industrial packaging customers • Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati (spoken & written) • Proven team handling and leadership experience • Strong decision-making, coordination, and problem-solving abilities • Willingness to travel frequently as per business needs Preferred Background • Experience in handling clients like modern retail chains, large distributors, or OEM packaging • Background in sales, operations, or business development within FMCG packaging • Exposure to companies dealing with retail chains, food brands, or industrial packaging clients Skills: management, business operations, food packaging, general, marketing leadership, pvc, modern trade, domestic sales, retail packaging, food industry, client relationship management, travel, general manager, operations, food manufacturing, senior management communications, leadership + management, retail, stretch film, fast-moving consumer goods (fmcg), food marketing, packaging, fmcg, leadership
