General Manager – Business Operations

Role Overview We are looking for a hands-on General Manager – Business Operations who can own and drive end-to-end operations across multiple departments. This is a ground-level leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in solving bottlenecks, aligning teams, and driving execution across functions. Key Functional Ownership (Must-Have Exposure) The role requires strong proficiency in managing and coordinating the following departments: • Jewellery Production • CAD Design Department • Sales and Business Development • Sales Support and Order Management • Human Resources • Finance and Accounts • Logistics and Dispatch Key Responsibilities • Oversee day-to-day operations across all core departments • Ensure smooth execution of customized jewellery orders with strict TAT adherence • Identify operational bottlenecks and resolve them at the shop-floor / ground level • Implement and monitor SOPs, efficiency metrics, and cost controls • Own operational P&L, margins, budgeting, and cash flow discipline • Define KPIs, review performance, and enforce accountability across teams • Lead HODs, build strong second-line leadership, and foster a performance-driven culture • Strengthen sales discipline, improve conversion ratios, and enhance customer experience • Reduce Founder dependency by ensuring stable, scalable, and predictable operations. Preferred Qualifications • MBA in Operations (preferred) • Minimum 5+ years of experience in senior operations or cross-functional leadership roles • Prior experience in manufacturing, B2B, or jewellery industry is a strong advantage • Ability to work hands-on at ground level, not just from a reporting desk • Strong people management, execution, and problem-solving skills.
