PURPOSE To provide strategic leadership and direction to the IT function across corporate and operational units, ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable technology infrastructure, digital solutions, and data management. KEY ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Reports to: VP – Finance Reporting Roles: Deputy General Manager – IT, Senior IT Managers, IT Managers, Network & Security Leads, IT Executives Interacts with: • External - Technology vendors, software and hardware OEMs, consultants, cloud providers, regulatory authorities, cybersecurity partners • Internal - Finance, Operations, Projects, Engineering, F&B, Legal, HR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Drive Operational Excellence • Lead end-to-end IT strategy, infrastructure, and digital initiatives across corporate and operational locations. • Ensure IT systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. • Implement KPIs for system uptime, project delivery, IT support efficiency, and user satisfaction. • Oversee deployment of digital tools, ERP systems, cloud solutions, and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and business intelligence. Technology Strategy & Digital Transformation • Drive innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies, digitization, and automation initiatives. • Define IT architecture, infrastructure standards, and cybersecurity frameworks for enterprise-wide deployment. • Evaluate and onboard technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and optimize total cost of ownership. • Champion sustainable, scalable, and future-ready IT solutions aligned with business priorities. • Implement and monitor industry best practices across IT operations, digital initiatives, and technology governance. People Management • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing IT teams across multiple functions and geographies. • Promote skill development, succession planning, and leadership growth within the IT function. • Drive cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing to enhance organizational digital capability. • Develop and manage IT budgets, aligning spend with strategic priorities and ROI expectations. • Monitor IT spend, cost optimization, vendor billing, and project financial performance. • Integrate IT planning into corporate projects, renovations, greenfield developments, and operational expansions. Leadership • Serve as the organization’s strategic IT voice in leadership discussions and board-level initiatives. • Lead IT transformation initiatives, including ERP upgrades, cloud migrations, and cybersecurity programs. • Build alignment with operations, finance, projects, and HR to ensure technology solutions support business objectives. Compliance & Risk Management • Ensure adherence to statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance standards in IT operations. • Conduct risk assessments for IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions. • Uphold the highest standards of data privacy, cybersecurity, and ethical IT practices. • Ensure adherence to DOA and DLF systems for audit and compliance purposes. Occupational Health & Safety Responsibilities • Ensure IT systems, equipment, and installations comply with workplace safety regulations. • Monitor vendor adherence to safety and environmental standards for IT infrastructure projects. • Maintain documentation of IT audits, safety protocols, and risk mitigation measures. JOB REQUIREMENTS / HIRING PROFILE • Graduate / Postgraduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. • Additional certifications in Cloud, Cybersecurity, or Digital Transformation preferred. WORK EXPERIENCE • 15–20 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership role in hospitality, corporate, or large-scale operational environments
