Location: Andheri Budget: 25 lpa Experience: 12+ years Role objective: The General Manager – Operations will play a critical leadership role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality execution across all operational functions. This position requires strong strategic thinking, operational excellence, team leadership, and deep understanding of advertising/marketing processes. Role deliverables: Operational Leadership • Oversee end-to-end operations for all client projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery. • Develop, implement, and optimize operational processes and SOPs to enhance productivity and efficiency. • Coordinate with Creative, Client Servicing, Production, Digital, and Finance teams to ensure seamless workflow. • Lead resource planning and allocation across departments to meet workload demands. Client & Project Management • Monitor project pipelines to ensure adherence to scope, timelines, and budgets. • Resolve operational bottlenecks and escalate critical issues when required. • Support teams in planning, execution, and troubleshooting complex campaigns (BTL, ATL, Digital, Print, Events, Activations, POSM, etc.). • Maintain strong relationships with key clients by enabling smooth project execution. Team Management & Leadership • Manage, mentor, and guide the operations team, ensuring high levels of performance and accountability. • Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and development initiatives. • Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and operational discipline. Vendor Management • Oversee vendor onboarding, negotiation, quality control, and performance. • Ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery across production, fabrication, printing, digital, and other marketing services. • Maintain an updated vendor database and ensure compliance with company standards. Strategic Planning & Process Improvement • Develop operational strategies aligned with the agency’s business goals. • Track KPIs, prepare operational reports, and suggest improvements. • Partner with senior management to plan annual budgets, workflow models, and process automations. Quality Assurance • Ensure final outputs meet agency and client quality standards across all deliverables. • Implement checks to minimize errors, rework, and delays. Mandatory Skills required: 15+ years of experience in operations within an advertising, marketing, or integrated agency. Strong understanding of campaign execution, production processes, digital operations, and BTL/ATL workflows. Proven leadership, team management, and stakeholder-handling skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in project management tools and operational software.
