General Manager – Operations / Technical

About the job

This leadership role will drive production efficiency, technical operations, vendor management, and supply chain coordination across yarn sourcing, dyeing, weaving, knitting, and garment production. Key Responsibilities • Oversee yarn sourcing, grey fabric procurement, dyeing, weaving, and garment production • Manage weaving technologies including rapier looms, air-jet looms, dobby & jacquard • Drive production planning, line balancing, and factory productivity • Lead vendor sourcing and outsourcing partnerships for garment production • Ensure quality standards, cost optimization, and on-time delivery • Implement process improvements, 5S practices, and operational excellence initiatives • Manage cross-functional teams across production, sourcing, quality, logistics, and finance Preferred Profile • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering / Garment Technology • MBA in Operations / Supply Chain preferred • Strong experience in yarn dyeing, fabric manufacturing, weaving, knitting, and garment production • Proven leadership experience managing large textile manufacturing operations Ideal for professionals currently working as: GM Operations | Plant Head | Factory Head | Operations Head | Textile Production Head

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering
• Garment Technology
• MBA in Operations/Supply Chain preferred
