Role Overview and Responsibilities: Dhruva Space is seeking an experienced and people-focused General Manager – People & Culture to build a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. As a senior HR leader, this role will drive key initiatives across employee engagement, grievance management, learning and development, and workplace health and safety, while partnering closely with business leaders to strengthen a people-first culture, enhance leadership capability, improve employee experience, and support overall wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To: • Design and implement strategies that foster a positive, high-performance organizational culture. • Lead employee engagement initiatives and regularly assess employee sentiment through surveys, feedback tools, and focus groups. • Champion equity, inclusion, and belonging across all levels of the organization. • Establish, manage, and continuously improve a fair, confidential, and efficient grievance redressal mechanism. • Act as a senior escalation point for complex employee relations and grievance matters. • Provide guidance to managers on conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and sensitive employee issues. • Oversee the design and delivery of leadership, technical, and behavioral training programs. • Drive talent development initiatives including succession planning, career frameworks, and mentorship programs. • Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and align L&D initiatives with strategic objectives. • Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and organizational health and safety standards. • Promote wellness initiatives that support both physical and mental wellbeing of employees. • Lead incident response, risk assessments, and proactive safety awareness and education programs. • Serve as a key contributor to overall HR strategy, policies, and long-term people planning. • Develop and manage budgets, KPIs, and ROI metrics related to culture, engagement, and development initiatives. • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing People & Culture team.
