About the job

Company Description We propose establishing Skilled Training Centres across India to transform raw manpower into a skilled workforce, creating employment opportunities in India and overseas. These centres will deliver industry-aligned training and hands-on expertise, enabling workers to optimise efficiency, proficiency, and productivity, thereby significantly enhancing their employability and access to sustainable livelihoods. The training programs will focus on Industrial, Civil and Construction sector skills, including but not limited to Masonry, Carpentry, Lamination, Scaffolding, Plumbing, Electrical Works, Welding and Allied construction services Role Description This is a full-time on-site position for a General Manager - Skilled Training based in New Delhi. The General Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and execution of training programs, ensure operational excellence, and manage the team's performance and efficiency. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, evaluating training outcomes, supervising staff, and adhering to organisational objectives. The role demands strong leadership and project management abilities to ensure the smooth delivery of skilled training initiatives. Qualifications • Leadership, team management, and decision-making skills • Program development, implementation, and project management experience • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities • Analytical and problem-solving skills for assessing program success • Familiarity with workforce development and training processes • Ability to manage budgets, resources, and multiple priorities effectively • Relevant certification in management or training programs is a plus • Commitment to maintaining compliance with corporate and government standards • Minimum 20 years of skilled training work experience, of which 5 years of overseas experience is a must. • Degree holders in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering • Strong technical knowledge and training capability in relevant trades, and responsible for setting up and operationalising training centres pan India.
