Global Product Manager

Role Overview: You will be a part of a large-scale enterprise transformation at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). The focus will be on building a Finance Enterprise Data warehouse as part of a program to replace the current ERP system with SAP S4 Hana on the cloud. As a Global Product Manager, you will work in an Agile team to deliver best-in-class data solutions for the firm's success. The role will involve collaborating with the business, data engineers, and architects to drive impactful change and enable the next generation of reporting at BCG. The work will be fast-paced, intellectually intense, and highly visible. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the team in understanding BCG's business processes and reporting needs, translating these into functional specifications for the Data Engineering team. - Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues using functional understanding of processes, reports, and technical tools. - Analyze gaps in analytical capabilities and financial application data models, generating solution options for review. - Develop implementation plans and deliver project goals and objectives. - Manage a backlog of work, provide support to a diverse user base, and ensure effective stakeholder management. - Create practical data models to support analytical analysis by understanding multiple data sources and data mapping. - Lead testing and validation of integrated BI solutions throughout the development lifecycle. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Business Intelligence, Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems. - 10-12 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence, finance, and reporting; less experience considered for exceptional performers. - Proficiency in reading and writing SQL is a must, familiarity with database architecture approach is a plus. - Ability to work effectively in a global environment and with people at all levels, preferably in a professional services organization. - Strong experience with enterprise software and business intelligence solutions.
