About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of education infrastructure projects from concept through completion. This role will be responsible for driving project execution, ensuring alignment with design intent, timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Delivery • Lead end-to-end execution of education projects, from feasibility through design, procurement, construction, and handover. • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and key milestones. • Ensure delivery within defined scope, timelines, and cost parameters. Stakeholder & Consultant Management • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure integrated project delivery. • Manage relationships with key stakeholders including leadership, authorities, and end users. • Provide regular project updates and escalate risks or delays proactively. Commercial & Contract Management • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial tracking across the project lifecycle. • Manage procurement processes including consultant and contractor selection, tendering, and bid evaluation. • Support contract administration, including progress certification, variation management, and payment approvals. Risk, Compliance & Governance • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth execution. • Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and statutory approvals. • Monitor adherence to project governance, quality, and reporting standards. Design & Execution Oversight • Ensure coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. • Drive alignment between design intent and on-site execution. • Lead value engineering and optimization initiatives to enhance project efficiency. Quality, Safety & Handover • Ensure implementation of quality assurance and HSE standards across project sites. • Conduct periodic site reviews and monitor contractor performance. • Oversee project close-out, including handover documentation and operational readiness. Candidate Profile Experience • 8–10 years of experience in project management within construction or infrastructure development. • Proven track record of delivering end-to-end education or institutional projects. Strong experience in managing consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams. Expertise • Project planning, budgeting, and cost control • Contract management and procurement processes • Risk management and regulatory compliance • Familiarity with international contract frameworks (e.g., FIDIC) is preferred. Skills • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Detail-oriented with a structured, problem-solving approach.
