We would like to hire an experienced professional for the role of GM - HR (Head of Department). The position reports directly to the Vice Chancellor (VC) and Chairman and will work closely with academic and administrative leadership. Head and lead the entire HR department for the University Design, implement, and monitor HR policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks Lead Talent Acquisition for faculty, academic leadership, and administrative roles Drive Talent Management, performance appraisal systems, succession planning, and leadership development Manage employee relations, counselling, grievance redressal, and disciplinary processes Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy with institutional goals Lead and develop the HR team, ensuring operational excellence and responsiveness Oversee HR operations including payroll coordination, manpower planning, and statutory compliance Champion digital HR transformation, HRMS, and data-driven HR decision making Prepare HR MIS, dashboards, and strategic reports for VC and Chairman Foster a positive, inclusive, and performance-oriented workplace culture Why Dehradun?
