Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role as a Gold Appraiser located in Nagaon. The Gold Appraiser will be responsible for evaluating, assessing, and verifying the authenticity and quality of gold and other precious metals. Additional responsibilities include ensuring accurate weight and purity assessments, completing documentation, maintaining records of appraisals, and adhering to company standards and regulatory guidelines. Collaboration with the sales team to meet customer requirements and ensure customer satisfaction is essential. Qualifications • Strong knowledge of gold quality assessment and evaluation techniques • Experience in accurately measuring weight and testing the purity of precious metals • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills • Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to use technical equipment for gold appraisals • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • A background in jewelry appraisal, metallurgy, or a related field is an advantage • Understanding of financial services and lending processes is beneficial
