Role Overview: We are looking for a proactive GRC Associate (Fresher) with internship experience in DPDPA (Digital Personal Data Protection Act). The role requires direct client interaction, especially to handle technical and compliance-related queries, along with hands-on work on GRC tools. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in governance, risk, and compliance activities aligned with DPDPA and other regulations. • Actively interact with clients to understand and respond to technical and compliance-related queries. • Support compliance assessments, gap analysis, and risk evaluations. • Maintain and update policies, procedures, risk registers, and compliance documentation. • Work on GRC/compliance tools to track risks, controls, and compliance status. • Coordinate with internal teams and clients for data collection and evidence. • Support internal audits, client audits, and regulatory reporting. • Communicate compliance requirements clearly to clients and stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Security, Law, or related discipline. • Internship experience in GRC / DPDPA / Information Security. • Basic understanding of: • DPDPA • GRC and risk management concepts. • Data protection and information security principles. • Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interactions. • Ability to understand and address technical queries from clients. • Capability to work on GRC and compliance tools. • Good documentation and analytical skills. Preferred Skills: • Exposure to ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR or similar frameworks. • Basic understanding of audits and internal controls. • Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation tools.
