Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Experience: Minimum 8–12 years post-qualification experience Location: As applicable Reporting To: Managing Director / Group CFO Job Purpose The Group Finance Manager will oversee and manage the financial operations of multiple companies within the group. The role involves strategic financial planning, compliance, reporting, budgeting, and ensuring robust financial controls across all group entities. Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Management & Reporting • Oversee end-to-end finance functions of all group companies • Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Ensure timely MIS reports, variance analysis, and financial dashboards for management • Monitor cash flows, working capital, and fund utilization across entities 2. Budgeting & Financial Planning • Lead annual budgeting and forecasting for all group companies • Track performance against budgets and highlight deviations with corrective actions • Support management with financial analysis for strategic decisions 3. Statutory Compliance & Taxation • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other applicable laws • Oversee tax planning, assessments, audits, and litigations • Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants 4. Audit & Internal Controls • Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits for group companies • Establish and strengthen internal control systems and SOPs • Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation measures 5. Group Consolidation & Coordination • Handle consolidation of accounts for group entities • Standardize accounting policies and reporting formats across companies • Coordinate finance teams across locations and subsidiaries 6. Banking & Fund Management • Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and fund-raising activities • Oversee loan documentation, repayments, and compliance with covenants • Optimize cash management and treasury operations 7. Business Support & Strategy • Act as a financial advisor to management and business heads • Evaluate new business opportunities, investments, and cost optimization initiatives • Support mergers, acquisitions, or expansion plans, if any 8. Team Management • Lead, mentor, and review performance of finance and accounts teams • Ensure skill development and adherence to best practices
