About the job

We are hiring one person to join the founding team. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you will work directly with the founder on everything from legal content strategy and community outreach to product feedback and user growth. This role requires someone who: • Has real knowledge of Indian law with an understanding of how advocates actually research, draft, and argue cases in Indian courts. • Can think and act in the interest of the organisation, not just follow instructions. You will face decisions where there is no playbook. We need someone who makes the right call. • Is bold and confident in how they communicate with users, with partners, with the legal community. We are building something new. The person representing Lawbot Express needs to carry that conviction. • Is committed to serious team building. You are not joining a team — you are helping build one. Your standards, your work ethic, and your judgment will set the tone for everyone who comes after you. You have to be always active and always present. What you will do: Legal Content & Research: Write and review blog posts, legal guides, and educational content Community & User Growth: Engage directly with advocates, law students, and legal professionals. Product Feedback & Improvement: Translate user pain points into clear feedback Represent the Brand: When you speak to a lawyer, a student, or a potential partner, you are Lawbot Express. Who should apply: We do not have a rigid checklist of qualifications. What matters is the kind of person you are. That said, the following will make you a strong candidate: • You are a law student (3rd year or above) or a recently enrolled advocate who understands how Indian courts work in practice. • You have genuine curiosity about legal technology and AI. • You can write clearly and speak confidently. When you explain something, people understand it. When you argue a point, people take you seriously. • Self-driven. • You are comfortable with ambiguity. • You are available for a committed, active role.
