Position details • Designation: Head 63 Information Technology (IT) • Department: IT / Digital & Cybersecurity • Reporting to: CEO / Managing Director / Group CIO • Location: [City / HO + Plant + Retail network] • Industry: Retail & Manufacturing Key Responsibilities • Define and execute IT strategy covering applications, infrastructure, networks, plant systems, and retail store technology, align ... ed to business goals. • Lead design, implementation, and support of core systems such as ERP, POS, WMS, MES, and manufacturing automation platforms. • Build and manage secure, highly available networks across head office, plants, warehouses, and retail outlets. • Lead ethical hacking and penetration testing programmes on critical applications, networks, and AI systems, and drive remediation. • Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, IAM, DLP, backup & DR). • Design and oversee AI / ML use cases such as demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, customer analytics, fraud detection, and predictive maintenance. • Work with business teams to digitalise processes in manufacturing (production, quality, maintenance) and retail (billing, loyalty, eADcommerce, CRM). • Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs for hardware, software, cloud, security, and connectivity. • Build, mentor, and lead a multiADlocation IT team (infrastructure, applications, security, data/AI), defining KPIs and performance standards. • Ensure compliance with relevant IT, data protection, and industry standards; prepare for internal/external audits and certification requirements. • Own incident response, rootADcause analysis, and continuous improvement for outages, cyber incidents, and data breaches. Ethical hacking & AI specific duties • Plan and execute regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on networks, cloud, ERP, POS, and AI models. • Identify AIADspecific threats such as data poisoning, adversarial attacks, and model theft; implement safeguards in data pipelines and model lifecycle. • Define secure coding, DevSecOps, and MLOps standards; integrate security checks into CI/CD and model deployment workflows. • Conduct security awareness training for tech and business teams, especially around phishing, social engineering, and AI misuse. Candidate profile • Education: B.Tech / BE / MCA; MasterADADs in IT/CS or MBA (Systems) preferred. • Experience: 15+ years in IT, including 5+ years in a leadership role as IT Head / IT Director / CIO/CTO in retail / manufacturing / FMCG. • Strong handsADon background in: • Network, systems, and cloud administration (onADprem + AWS/Azure/GCP). • ERP / plant systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and retail store/POS technology. • Cybersecurity, VAPT, security tools (SIEM, EDR, WAF, etc.). • Proven experience designing or overseeing AI/ML solutions in business scenarios (analytics, forecasting, recommendation engines, automation). • Relevant certifications preferred: CEH / OSCP / eJPT / CISSP, plus AI/ML or cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP).
