Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Finance and Accounting located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The primary responsibilities include overseeing the preparation of financial statements, managing financial reporting processes, developing and tracking budgets, and analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making. The role involves ensuring compliance with financial regulations, implementing robust financial controls, and leading the finance and accounting team to achieve organizational goals. Qualifications • Strong knowledge of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting requirements • Proficiency in Budgeting and effective financial planning • Exceptional Analytical Skills to assess financial performance and metrics • Expertise in finance-related tasks, including risk management and resource optimization • Proficiency in financial software and tools • Strong leadership and team management skills • Excellent communication and presentation abilities • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is a plus • Prior experience in a leadership role within finance or accounting is preferred
