About the job

As the Head of Financial Institutions Group, India you will be responsible for maximising business profitability from local FIG clients operating in the region by implementing and executing the Global FIG strategy. Your role requires strong people and industry leadership, with an emphasis on developing and expanding our market position by maximising revenue opportunities. Strong knowledge & experience of Risk Management is essential coupled with experience in FIG Relationship Management or products and demonstrated leadership capabilities. Key responsibilities including growing the FIG business through developing and driving the regional strategy, direct deal engagement, senior client sponsorship & managing financial and non-financial risks. You will have a demonstrated competence in key lending, transaction banking, financial markets and structured finance capabilities of relevance to the financial institutions sector which will be used in the execution of your responsibilities. You will develop and maintain internal relationships with key stakeholders including regional and country management, product partners and your FIG team counterparts around the world in order to deliver an efficient global account coverage program, as well as your R&A and Credit partners. Your role is a member of the India senior management team as a business head and will help shape the culture and the business.
