Opportunity: Head Operations & Maintenance (Gas-Based Combined Cycle Power Plant) Note: Only candidates with Head O&M experience in a gas-based combined cycle power plant will be considered. We have an opening for a senior leadership role as Head O&M for a Gas-Based Combined Cycle Power Plant. You will act as the Owner/Client Representative. Position Details • Role: Head Operations & Maintenance (O&M) • Industry: Gas-Based Combined Cycle Power Plant • Experience: 25+ years (mandatory experience in ≥1000 MW combined cycle plants) • Qualification: Bachelor's in electrical engineering (M.Tech / MBA preferred) • Location: International Opportunity • Employment Type: Permanent Key Expertise Required • Full-scope O&M experience in gas-based combined cycle plants (GT, ST, HRSG and BOP) • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems: generators, transformers, switchyard, HV/MV/LV systems, protection and control • Experience with OEMs: GE, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Alstom • Preventive, predictive and reliability-centered maintenance expertise • Leading major overhauls, shutdowns and managing LTSAs • Ensuring plant efficiency, reliability, safety and availability targets • Compliance with HSE, statutory and environmental standards • Budget preparation, cost control and inventory management • Team leadership: mentoring, training and performance development • Coordination with regulatory bodies, grid operators, fuel suppliers and contractors • Implementation of digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives Skills and Competencies • Strong leadership and team management • Deep technical expertise in electrical and power generation systems • Analytical and strategic decision-making capability • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement • Financial and contractual acumen in O&M • Commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence Preferred Background • Gas-based power generation (CCPP / OCGT) • IPP / Utility sector • EPC or O&M service providers • Heavy industries with captive gas-based power plants Please share your updated resume at: rohit.dhiman@petroexceltech.com
