As the Head/VP of Sales and Business Development, you will play a crucial role in driving overall revenue growth, market expansion, and the strategic direction of the company's sales organization. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing comprehensive sales and business development strategies to consistently achieve and exceed annual revenue targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). - Establishing and managing sales forecasts, budgets, and operational plans in alignment with overarching company goals. - Implementing rigorous sales processes, metrics, and reporting mechanisms for predictability, efficiency, and accountability throughout the sales cycle. You will provide inspirational leadership to the entire sales and business development team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture. Additionally, you will lead by example in complex negotiations and provide strategic guidance on major transactions. Identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing new market opportunities, product applications, and strategic customer segments for expansion will be a key aspect of your role. You will collaborate closely with Marketing and Product teams to synchronize go-to-market strategies and value propositions. Your role will also involve directly managing relationships with strategic clients and enterprise accounts to secure long-term partnerships. Furthermore, you will develop relationships with strategic partners to expand distribution channels and drive indirect revenue. In terms of talent development, you will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and continuous professional development of the sales organization. Implementing effective training, coaching, and mentorship programs will be essential to elevate the skills and performance of all team members.
