About the Role We are looking for a seasoned HR Business Partner to lead & manage the 3P / Contract Workforce across multiple Teams and locations. This role will act as the primary HRBP for all third-party employees, driving workforce governance, employee relations, compliance, & productivity in close partnership with Operations. The incumbent will manage a team of 4 HRBPs and work closely with Staffing Partners, TA, HR Ops, Legal, and Business managers to ensure seamless lifecycle management, strong compliance discipline, and a high-performance field workforce. This is a highly field-intensive role requiring strong stakeholder management, ER expertise, data-driven decision-making, & the ability to handle escalations with maturity & speed. What you will do • Workforce Planning & Hiring • Partner with Business Manager and Biz finance teams on manpower planning & workforce budgeting. • Maintain visibility on headcount status, vacancies, redeployments, & attrition trends across Teams. • Coordinate with staffing vendors and TA to support hiring for 3P roles & ensure timely fulfillment. • Onboarding & Documentation • Oversee onboarding processes including documentation, BGV, contract issuance, & HRMS updates. • Ensure statutory compliance, minimum wages adherence, & labour law norms during employee onboarding. • Coordinate contract renewals and maintain complete lifecycle documentation. • Attendance, Payroll & Workforce Governance • Validate payroll inputs, leave records, and attendance data in partnership with vendors & HR Ops. • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance, documentation accuracy, & audit readiness. • Track productivity, attendance discipline, and overall workforce hygiene across Teams. • Employee Experience & Engagement • Conduct regular employee connects, field visits, & skip-level meetings to proactively identify concerns. • Standardize employee communication and drive awareness of policies and code of conduct. • Implement structured grievance redressal mechanisms and ensure timely closure of employee concerns. • Drive performance management processes for 3P employees in collaboration with Business teams. • Employee Relations & Compliance • Manage ER cases related to misconduct, fraud, absenteeism, performance issues, • and policy violations. • Conduct investigations, maintain documentation, and recommend appropriate • disciplinary actions. • Retention & Attrition Management • Conduct exit interviews, analyze attrition drivers, & recommend targeted retention strategies. • Partner with operations and vendors to address workforce stability & redeployment needs. What you will need • Experience • 6-10 years of progressive HR experience, with strong exposure to HRBP / Employee • Relations roles. • Proven experience managing large blue-collar / contract / 3P workforce across multiple • locations. • Hands-on experience handling ER cases including misconduct, disciplinary actions, fraud • investigations, and grievance management. • Strong exposure to labour law compliance, statutory audits, minimum wages, and • contractor governance. • Experience partnering closely with Operations / Business leaders in a high-volume, • field-intensive environment. • Prior experience managing or leading a small HR team is preferred. • Experience working with staffing vendors and coordinating lifecycle processes including • hiring, onboarding, payroll inputs, BGV, and exits. • Education • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent post-graduate qualification in HR. • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. • Additional certification in Labour Laws, POSH, or Industrial Relations will be an added • advantage. • Competencies • Strong Employee Relations and conflict resolution capability. • High ownership mindset with ability to handle escalations independently. • Strong understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance frameworks. • Stakeholder management skills with ability to influence operations leaders. • Data-driven decision making ability to track and interpret workforce metrics. • Excellent investigation, documentation, and case management skills. • Strong communication and field connect capability with blue-collar workforce. • Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced, and high-pressure environments. • Willingness to travel extensively and manage multi-location operations. • Team leadership capability with ability to coach and develop direct reports.
