Job Title: HR Business Partner (HRBP) Location: Tamil Nadu Reporting To: Head of Human Resources Experience Required: 13–18 Years Industry Preference: Manufacturing (Mandatory) Role Purpose The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic partner to business leaders within a manufacturing environment, driving Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, and HR Operations. The role ensures smooth HR processes, workforce effectiveness, and compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations applicable to the manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition • Lead end-to-end recruitment for plant and corporate roles within the manufacturing setup. • Attract and hire best-in-class talent from manufacturing and allied industry segments. • Partner with plant leadership and senior management to understand manpower planning requirements. • Implement effective sourcing strategies including job portals, social media, networking, vendor management, and referral programs. • Manage salary negotiations, offer rollouts, and onboarding processes. • Organize recruitment drives for bulk and critical plant-level hiring. • Strengthen employer branding within the manufacturing talent market. Training & Development • Identify technical and behavioral training needs across plant and support functions. • Coordinate and execute learning initiatives for shop-floor employees and leadership teams. • Monitor training effectiveness and ensure continuous skill enhancement. Employee Relations • Act as HR partner for plant operations, addressing employee grievances and concerns. • Maintain healthy industrial relations within the manufacturing unit. • Support disciplinary actions, investigations, and compliance with labor laws. • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements and HR policies. Workplace Engagement & HR Operations • Drive employee engagement initiatives across plant and corporate teams. • Support workforce planning and organizational development initiatives. • Participate in HR committees and support business-driven HR initiatives. • Ensure HR compliance, documentation, and process adherence. Job Requirements Qualification & Experience • 13–18 years of HR experience with mandatory exposure to the Manufacturing industry. • Strong experience in plant HR operations and industrial relations preferred. • Experience working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Knowledge & Skills • Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance applicable to manufacturing units. • Proficiency in HRMS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Excellent stakeholder management skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to drive initiatives to closure. • High energy and ability to work in dynamic shop-floor environments.
