HR Compliance Executive – Manufacturing & Site Operations

Location: Vasai & Bandra Department: Human Resources Reporting To: Senior Manager - HR CTC: Up to ₹6,00,000 per annum (based on interview) Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an HR Compliance Executive – Manufacturing & Site Operations, located in Vasai/ Bandra. The HR Compliance Executive will oversee and manage HR operations, ensure adherence to HR compliance within manufacturing and site operations, and maintain positive employee relations. Daily responsibilities include implementing and monitoring HR policies, ensuring workforce alignment with compliance standards, managing HR documentation, and supporting employee engagement and well-being initiatives. Additional duties may include facilitating training on compliance matters and providing guidance to line management to ensure the smooth operation of HR functions. Key Responsibilities Labour Law Compliance – Manufacturing / Site Operations • Ensure compliance with labour laws applicable to manufacturing plants and operating sites, including: • Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act (CLRA) • Factories Act, 1948 • Shops & Establishments Act (where applicable) • Minimum Wages Act (state-wise wage notifications) • Payment of Wages Act • Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act • Bonus Act, Gratuity Act • EPF, ESI, PT, LWF • Monitor working hours, overtime, weekly offs, leave, and statutory benefits for shop-floor and site employees. • Ensure display of statutory notices, abstracts, and maintenance of registers at plant and site locations. CLRA & Contractor Compliance (Core Focus) • Handle end-to-end CLRA compliance for all contractors deployed at plants and sites: • Principal Employer registrations • Contractor license applications, renewals, amendments, and closures • Ensure contractor adherence to statutory requirements related to: • Minimum wages, overtime, and wage disbursement • PF & ESI enrollment and monthly remittances • Bonus, leave, and other statutory benefits • Scrutinise contractor bills and statutory documents prior to certification and payment. • Conduct periodic contractor compliance audits at plant and site locations. Inspections, Audits & Government Liaison • Independently handle inspections by: • Factory Inspectorate • Labour Department • PF & ESI authorities • Coordinate and prepare documentation for internal, statutory, and third-party audits. • Draft and submit responses to notices, show-cause letters, and inspection observations. Plant & Site HR Support • Work closely with Plant HR, Admin, and Site In-charges to ensure on-ground compliance. • Guide supervisors and contractors on statutory norms related to: • Working conditions and safety compliance • Wage structure and statutory deductions • Support accident reporting, statutory notifications, and compliance documentation (as applicable). Documentation, MIS & Reporting • Maintain plant/site-wise statutory registers, returns, and compliance trackers. • Ensure timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns. • Prepare MIS reports on contractor manpower, statutory compliance status, and audit findings. • Maintain compliance-ready records for inspections and audits. Desired Candidate Profile Qualification • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Labour Laws, or Industrial Relations • Diploma / Certification in Labour Laws or Factory Compliance preferred Experience • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing plants or site-based operations • Strong exposure to the shop-floor workforce and contract labour compliance • Experience handling multiple contractors and labour inspections independently Skills & Competencies • Strong practical knowledge of the Factories Act and CLRA • Experience working in plant/site environments • Ability to interact confidently with labour authorities and inspectors • Strong documentation, audit handling, and compliance tracking skills • Willingness to travel to plants/sites as required • Proficient in MS Excel and compliance documentation Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Zero statutory penalties or adverse inspection remarks • Timely renewal of factory licenses and contractor licenses • 100% contractor statutory compliance • Audit readiness across plants and sites Interested candidates can apply on rochem.recruitment@gmail.com or share your resume on +91-8657026744 with details including CTC, ECTC, Notice Period and Reason for change.
