The Role You will lead HR at a fast-scaling, execution-driven startup where outcomes matter more than optics. This is a 60% Talent Acquisition, 40% HR Generalist role—a rare hybrid for someone who can hire like a strong TA leader while owning culture, people operations, and the full HR charter. You’ll work directly with the Founders and take complete ownership of the people function. What You’ll Own Talent Acquisition at scale: Build pipelines, personally close senior hires, and run a high-performing TA team. Team leadership: Lead and develop a team of 12–15 across TA, HRBP, Payroll, and Onboarding. Culture & employee experience: Build a high-energy, high-accountability environment that retains top talent. HR operations: Own policies, compliance, payroll, and core people processes that keep the engine running smoothly. Strategic execution: Partner with leadership to hire, scale, and retain A-players. Who You Are Startup operator: You’ve worked in growth-stage startups with discipline and structure—not chaos. Hands-on closer: You can source, interview, and close senior roles yourself when needed. High ownership mindset: You follow through consistently and don’t let things slip. Strong communicator: Clear, direct, and persuasive—with candidates and leadership alike. Team builder: You’ve led teams and know how to drive accountability without micromanaging. True generalist: TA is your strength, but you’re comfortable owning HRBP work, culture initiatives, payroll, and ops. Requirements Proven experience in high-growth startups with strong operational rigor. Demonstrated success in independently closing senior and leadership hires. Experience leading TA and HR Generalist responsibilities in a 60 / 40 split. Prior management of teams sized 10–15+ across HR functions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Bangalore-based; full-time work from office required.
