HR Operations & People Strategy Assistant š Gurugram (On-site) | š Full-time Babaclick is a UK-led, cross-border e-commerce and operations group with teams across India, the UK, US, and Canada. As we continue to scale, weāre looking for a junior HR Operations & People Strategy Assistant to work closely with leadership on people operations, hiring, internal frameworks, knowledge management, and culture enablement. This is not a traditional admin HR role. Itās designed for someone who is comfortable taking initiative, working independently, and communicating clearly in a professional, global environment. Role Overview Youāll support the People function across talent operations, HR policy and frameworks, knowledge management, and internal communications. The role offers exposure to how people operations are designed and run in a UK-led, fast-scaling business, with direct involvement in building systems rather than just maintaining them. What Youāll Work On Including, but not limited to: ⢠Reviewing and shortlisting applications across multiple functions ⢠Supporting structured hiring workflows, interview coordination, and candidate communication ⢠Maintaining recruitment trackers and ensuring process consistency ⢠Assisting in drafting, reviewing, and updating HR policies and internal guidelines ⢠Supporting the creation and maintenance of frameworks (attendance, leave, probation, performance reviews, role progression) ⢠Maintaining accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation ⢠Supporting performance review cycles, feedback processes, and people initiatives ⢠Assisting with culture, engagement, and internal people communications ⢠Helping organise and maintain HR knowledge bases, trackers, and internal hubs ⢠Ensuring information is documented clearly and remains accessible and up to date What Weāre Looking For ⢠0ā2 years of experience in HR, people operations, or a structured operations role ⢠Strong fluency in spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally ⢠Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with team members and leadership across geographies ⢠Ability to work independently, manage multiple workstreams, and take initiative ⢠High attention to detail with a structured, process-driven mindset ⢠Comfortable using Excel / Google Sheets and internal documentation tools ⢠Discretion and maturity in handling confidential information Weāre looking for someone who thinks clearly, communicates well, and follows through, rather than waiting for step-by-step instructions.
