Overview We are seeking an experienced HR & Recruitment Specialist based in India to manage end-to-end HR operations while also supporting recruitment activities primarily in India and, when required, in the United States. This role will be responsible for core HR functions including payroll, employee lifecycle management, statutory compliance, and talent acquisition support. Key Responsibilities: • HR Operations (Primary Focus) • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for India employees in coordination with payroll vendors • Handle employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, system access, and exit formalities • Manage statutory compliances including: Provident Fund (PF), ESI, Professional Tax (PT), Gratuity • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation • Address employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and HR policies • Support performance management, leave management, and attendance tracking • Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and company policies Recruitment Support (Secondary Focus) • Support end-to-end recruitment for India-based roles: - Job posting - Resume screening - Initial candidate coordination - Interview scheduling • Assist with recruitment for US-based roles as needed (sourcing and coordination support) • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand role requirements • Maintain candidate pipelines and recruitment trackers • Support offer rollout and pre-joining engagement Required Skills & Experience: • 3–6 years of experience in HR operations and recruitment • Strong hands-on experience with Indian payroll and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT, etc.) • Experience handling employee onboarding and exit processes • Working knowledge of India labor laws • Experience supporting recruitment for IT / consulting roles preferred • Strong communication and coordination skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently Nice-to-Have: • Exposure to US recruitment processes (IT staffing, contract / permanent hiring) • Familiarity with HRMS and ATS tools • Prior experience in a consulting or IT services organization
